Important Announcements;



1) Band camp is from 20th to 22nd of Dec ...
Attendance is Compulsory!

Reporting time ~ 9am at band room. but lets meet up at 8.40am at the np main busstop first okay :) then we can go up to the band room together :) oooh and have some light breakfast first before coming okay :)


Packing List is as follows; (you may also bring other necessary stuffs that you deem fit.)

~ 3 sets top + bottom (advisable to bring 1 set extra as there will be games)
~ Undergarments
~ Towel(s)
~ Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap etc
~ Medication (if needed)
~ SLEEPING BAG (recommended to bring)
~ TORCH LIGHT (for emergency use)
~ Sufficient money (If needed as foods are provided for the 3 days)
~ Chargers (if needed)
~ Mouthpieces, Reeds, Instruments, Files, Scores etc

* Please note that valuables brought to the camp are at your own risks. The committee and school, will NOT be responsible for any lost of valuables. Please be responsible and smart enough to keep it with you at all times :)

2) For all alto saxys, please refer to the new parts allocations below ... There's some changes made as only 5 alto saxys (Tony, Leonard, Eddy, Hazmei and Janice) will be performing for Rondeau concert. Scores-wise, we will sort out on monday during sectionals okay :)

Sectionals this thurs will be together with Jefferson but as he will be tutoring all the alto saxys for 2hrs straight, I would require full attendance from all altos saxys for this thurs yup! If you gonna be late due to your lessons ending late,do inform me earlier yup! Thanks :)


ps: theres only 54 days left to concert! I believe we can all do it so lets practice hard together for these 2 months okay :) lets work hard together to make this concert a success :)

 ~ Rondeau XXV will be held on 9th January 2011 at NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert Hall. Timing will be from 5pm to 7.30pm.

* Please do start to promote the concert and encourage all your friends and family to come okay :)


 ~ For all alto saxys, please refer to the parts allocations below :) I have allocated ya'all different parts for all pieces already :) Scores will be passed to you as soon as I get it from the librarian ... We will try to get it ready latest by 25th so ya'all can each bring your own set of scores home to start slotting it in your own black file and practice at home :)

~ As Rondeau XXV Concert is coming up soon (either on the 9th or 16th of Jan 2011), please be aware that there are only 2 months left to preparing for the concert ! 2 months may seem like a very long period of time away but considering the many pieces that we will be playing for the concert, 2 months may not be enough at all ! Sectionals, as usual, will be arranged accordingly, for Jefferson to coach us on the many pieces :)


~ For Rondeau XXV Concert, the saxys players list is confirmed already ! Theres gonna be 10 saxys performing in total :)

   Altos Saxys ~ Tony, Leonard, Eddy, Huaiyi, Hazmei and Janice :)
   Tenor Saxys ~ Yiyang, Vonne and Suryadi :)
   Baritone Saxys ~ Henry :)

  
~ Band prac will be on every monday and thursday at 6pm ... Section dinner will be on at 5pm always :)always meet at cluster room first then we head out for dinner kays :)
